31. COMPLAINTS
ZeepUp is committed to providing a high standard of customer service and encourages Customers and Vendors to resolve issues fairly and promptly.

APPENDIX A
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
This Cancellation and Refund Policy forms an integral part of the ZeepUp Customer Terms and Conditions.
Its purpose is to explain how cancellations, refunds and Booking changes are managed on the Platform.
Different rules may apply depending on whether you have booked:
- a Restaurant;
- a Home Kitchen collection;
- a Home Dining Experience.
Where a Vendor has published additional cancellation conditions, those conditions will be displayed before you complete your Booking.
Nothing in this Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
1. RESTAURANT BOOKINGS
Unless a different cancellation policy is clearly displayed before you complete your Booking, you may cancel:
- free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled reservation or collection time; or
- within 15 minutes of placing the Booking where the reservation or collection is due to take place within the following 2 hours.
After the applicable cancellation deadline, the Booking will normally become non-refundable.
Late cancellations or failure to attend your reservation or collect your Order may result in cancellation charges, deposits being retained or other consequences determined by the Restaurant and communicated before the Booking is confirmed.
2. HOME DINING EXPERIENCES
Unless a different cancellation policy is clearly displayed before you complete your Booking, you may cancel:
- free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the Experience; or
- within 15 minutes of placing the Booking where the Experience is due to begin within the following 2 hours.
After the applicable cancellation deadline, the Booking will normally become non-refundable.
3. HOME KITCHEN COLLECTIONS
Unless otherwise specified by the Vendor before the Booking is confirmed, you may cancel:
- up to 24 hours before the scheduled collection time; or
- within 15 minutes of placing the Order where collection is due within the following 2 hours.
Orders cancelled after the applicable deadline will normally not be eligible for a refund.
4. VENDOR CANCELLATIONS
If a Vendor cancels your confirmed Booking, ZeepUp will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable.
Where appropriate, you may receive:
- a full refund;
- assistance in finding an alternative Vendor;
- other support offered at ZeepUp's discretion.
ZeepUp is not responsible for any indirect costs arising from Vendor cancellations, including travel expenses, accommodation costs or loss of enjoyment.
5. LATE ARRIVAL
Customers are responsible for arriving at the agreed location on time.
For Home Dining Experiences, Restaurants and other Experiences, significant delays may result in:
- refusal of entry;
- reduction in the duration of the Experience;
- cancellation of the Booking without refund,
where it would no longer be reasonable for the Vendor to provide the service.
6. FAILURE TO COLLECT ORDERS
Customers are responsible for collecting Home Kitchen Orders at the agreed collection time.
Where an Order is not collected within a reasonable period, the Vendor may:
- dispose of the food for food safety reasons;
- treat the Order as completed;
- refuse any refund where permitted by these Terms.
7. NO-SHOWS
If a Customer fails to attend a confirmed Booking without cancelling in accordance with this Policy, the Booking will normally be treated as a no-show.
No-shows are generally not eligible for a refund.
Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on the Customer's use of the Platform.
8. REFUNDS
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed using the original payment method.
Refund processing times depend on your payment provider and financial institution.
Refunds may be refused where:
- the applicable cancellation deadline has passed;
- the Booking has already been completed;
- these Terms have been breached;
- fraudulent activity is reasonably suspected.
9. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
In exceptional circumstances, ZeepUp may, at its sole discretion, consider refund requests outside the standard cancellation policy.
Examples may include:
- serious safety concerns;
- technical failures affecting the Platform;
- duplicate payments;
- fraud;
- circumstances where a Vendor was unable to provide the booked Product or Experience.
Each request will be assessed individually.
Submission of a request does not guarantee that a refund will be granted.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
Neither ZeepUp nor the Vendor shall be responsible for delays, cancellations or changes caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including:
- severe weather;
- flooding;
- fire;
- pandemic;
- government restrictions;
- transport disruption;
- power failures;
- internet outages;
- other Force Majeure events.
Where reasonably possible, ZeepUp and the Vendor will seek to minimise disruption and assist Customers in accordance with the circumstances.
11. CONTACTING US

We recommend contacting us as soon as possible if you believe a Booking has been affected by exceptional circumstances.
